May 26 - Vital Signs of IAQ (Indoor Air Quality)
|
|
The number of patients who die from infections contracted at hospitals is far too high. Similarly, schools often breed asthma and sluggish behavior. Indoor air quality can be significantly improved at hospitals and schools, while reducing their operating costs. Attendees will learn how North Shore Hospital System has transformed the way their hospitals are designed, built and retrofitted to ensure the safety of their patients and their staff. Many of the lessons learned at North Shore can be applied to the way public schools are designed and built.
